Course Description and Career Skills
This course prepares students for careers as licensed cosmetologists by providing comprehensive training in hair cutting, styling, and chemical treatments, as well as manicures, pedicures, facials, and massage techniques. Instruction includes the safe and effective use of cosmetic products, esthetic treatments, sanitation and safety practices, shop management, customer service, and an understanding of relevant professional and labor laws. Through hands-on practice and professional preparation, students gain the skills and knowledge necessary to work confidently in specialized or full-service salon environments.
